Truth hits harder

Twenty Thousand Names: A Song for Ukraine’s Children I wrote these lyrics for the children taken from Ukraine and for the families still waiting for them to come home. The words are mine. I used artificial intelligence to produce the song from my lyrics. This is a demand for documentation, repatriation, and accountability. A child’s identity, language, and family are not bargaining chips. I want the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States, and everyone who hears this to confront what has happened to these children. Previous Attempts at Peace Before the release of truth hits harder , these earlier posts documented my public attempts to appeal for peace, accountability, and the return of Ukrainian children. The power of your vote

When a Documented Claim Is Met With a Closed File I submitted a tort notice concerning the delayed delivery of a Merriam-Webster Rhyming Dictionary to Snake River Correctional Institution, supported by an exhibit index, purchase and delivery records, agency emails, call records, and a public-records request. The State of Oregon’s September 9 response says it views the matter as a claim on behalf of an adult in custody, directs that person to file under ORS 30.275, and states that it is closing its file. Compare the documented request and evidence with the response below. This is an example of injustice I will not stand for, and why we must not forget the power we hold with our vote. Crown on Concrete: A Song About Recovery, Faith, and the People We Carry

Still With Us: A Song About Recovery, Faith, and the People We Carry By Killian Yates | The Bald Eagle Party I wrote this song for Tristan, for my other friends and family lost to addiction, and for the people I love who are still in it. Their lives, their struggles, and the love I carry for them are the inspiration behind these words. I wrote the lyrics in pieces while listening to different songs on YouTube Music, leaving those pieces as comments as the words came to me. Eventually, those thoughts about grief, determination, faith, and recovery came together. I used Google Gemini to create the song from the lyrics I had written. Listen on YouTube Listen on Google Drive “enough dead homies to make a family tree” That line carries the weight of people I knew and loved. When I talk about addiction, I think about Tristan. I think about the oth...

Still Undelivered: One Dictionary, Two Political Parties and No Accountability

Still Undelivered: One Dictionary, Two Political Parties and No Accountability Oregon’s Democratic administration passed responsibility down to prison housing officers while Republican representatives became unreachable. By Killian Yates | September 1, 2026 As of September 1, 2026, the book still has not been delivered. On Friday, August 28, Christina Towers of the Oregon Department of Corrections Office of the Inspector General assured me that Javier Manuel Morales would receive the book that night or, at the very latest, the following day. That deadline passed. Mr. Morales still does not have the book. Twenty-seven days have now passed since USPS delivered it to Snake River Correctional Institution. The item is a Merriam-Webster Rhyming Dictionary. I purchased it through Amazon for my friend, Javier Manuel Morales, so that we could write music together through letters. Amazon and USPS tracking ...
